Salvato Single Cartridge Mechanical Seals are designed to operate independently of the direction of rotation and are supplied as pre-assembled cartridge units for quick and easy installation. The gland plate is provided with slots, allowing compatibility with pumps having different PCDs. These seals are available in both balanced and unbalanced configurations to suit varying pressure conditions.

A common seal head and mating ring set is used across all versions, offering excellent interchangeability and flexibility. The reversible design allows the seal to function as either a rotating seal head or a stationary mating ring and is interchangeable with metal bellow seal heads. An optional quench gland with a carbon ring throttle bushing can be provided for enhanced sealing performance in demanding environments.
